For most arrangements for most ensembles, the median rate is around $200.00 USD. That includes the sheet music, audio files, data files, guidance to the arrangement, and minor tweaking once you start to learn it. We cover standard shipping and CDs. Our specialty is a cappella, but we're cool enough to do lots of ensembles. Bulk pricing available. Haggling available. Smiles complimentary.

For larger and more complex arrangements or arrangements using non-traditional instrumentation, there are some surcharges, as listed below

A Cappella

• Up to six parts (including the solo line as one of the parts)

• More than six parts (including the solo line)

• Vocal percussion guide (a how-to for effective VP on the particular tune)

Orchestral

Pricings here vary by what you want to do. Depending on what you want arranged or transcribed, the price can vary. Reducing Mahler's 1st symphony for wind quintet is a little tougher than arranging I'm On A Boat for brass ensemble. Please contact us and we'll send you a price quote.

Solo with accompaniment

Pricings also vary but depending on what you're looking for, the price can drop into the double digits. We're comfortable doing a great arrangement for standard instruments. Please contact us and we'll send you a price quote.

Legal stuff

Some music can be arranged without any legal worries, like classical tunes. Rad. Some, though, you have to pay a licensing fee and worry about royalties and such. As of now, MusicaRanger doesn't handle that. We'll provide some guidance for going about that, but it'll be up to you to do the legwork. This is a friendly heads-up: if you're planning on doing any song that is under copyright, regardless if MusicaRanger does the arranging or someone else does it, you should give a nod to the original artist financially. FYI.
